Once again, Anixter International was recognized as leading company in its market sector by one of the most distinguished specialized magazines. This time around, it is Business Week Info Tech 100 ranking.

In order to list these 100 companies, Business Week considered financial data delivered by Standard & Poor's Compustat, a  McGraw-Hill Companies division that processes data from over 28,000 blue-chip corporations.

This year, to expand the universe of information technology companies awarded, the magazine decided to include cabling organizations expanding their operations to the telecommunication field. Companies needed to present revenues of at least $ 300 M to qualify for the award.

Anixter International was selected among these companies and ranked 24th among the top 100 organizations.
