You can now participate in the certification courses and obtain Milestone XProtect solutions, for open platform management of IP video-surveillance solutions. The manufacturer will develop these courses in August for channels working with Anixter.

With this certification you will be able to install, configure and implement all these solutions, and provide support and troubleshooting services for users of the system.

Professional and Advanced Certification Courses will be held in different countries across the region. After the completion of the courses, participants will receive as a gift an XProtect software packet, with permission to be re-sold.

Open architecture for centralized management

In the proposed certifications, participants will get the chance to know, in detail, the potential of Milestone XProtect Corporate and XProtect Enterprise software solutions. The former is an IP video platform that allows a centralized management of an unlimited number of cameras, and has been especially designed for big size companies and alarm centers. The latter, instead, is a good option for environments in need of a multiple-server video surveillance system, since it provides advanced functionalities that allow to develop and integrate multiple security systems with IP video.

As part of the trainings, for the Professional certification participants will also enjoy an introduction to the management of IP video and the IP video management software industry when compared to CCTV solutions. They will also become familiar with the open platform concept and network fundamentals.

Both courses will deal with architecture and topology of the Milestone XProtect system. As part of the hands-on tuition, participants will review the installation of the XPP server. And they will also learn about the configuration of advanced functionalities, such as archived processes, PTZ, general adjustments, pre-sets, patrol an image server.
