On October 29, channels and end users in Barbados were able to familiarize with the most recent innovations in IP Security implementations developed by Axis, CommScope, Panasonic and Pelco, in an event organized by Anixter alongside some of its main business partners.
Anixter channels and end users in Barbados were able to take part in the Integrated Physical Security 2009, an IP security seminar held in St Michaele, on October 29. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. guests had the chance to familiarize in depth with all the security solutions developed by Axis, CommScope, Panasonic and Pelco.
Gathered at the Lloyd Erskine Sandifor Centre, users and channels who participated in the event were brought up-to-date on the latest trends in security. The seminar turned out to be an ideal opportunity for the channels that are seeking to beat the competition as well as for those users that are looking to receive specific training on the latest integrated physical security solutions and accessories.
Videosurveillance systems integrated with access control systems and infrastructures designed to support convergence, for example, were some of the main issues that were analyzed during this intensive day of training.
In addition to this, participants discussed a real-life case in which migration to an open IP-based solution was the best alternative. There was also a hands-on demostration on the construction of an integrated security system from a scratch.
Good decisions are based on knowledge During the Integrated Physical Security Seminar 2009, Anixter experts cleared doubts and advised participants so that they could recommend and select the best products, depending on every need. In parallel, every manufacturer offered a special presentation. Lastly, an interesting debate on all issues discussed along the seminar was held among colleagues and presenters.
As added value distributor, Anixter offers the possibility to make up a complete security solution packet thanks to the integration of multi-vendor products and services at the most convenient prices.
