The DSA series is the second generation of Bosch video storage Arrays, developed as part of the global agreement with NetApp company. Thanks to its RAID-4 or RAID-DP technology, the DSA-N2B40 solution ensures maximum protection for recorded video files avoiding interruptions, even in the event of a simultaneous faliure in two disks. In addition, it features redundant hot-swappable power supplies and cooling fans, thus providing an additional guarantee against malfunctioning.
To further  improve its realibility, the system provides real-time status reports and potential problem warnings.
To provide scalability and  simple-to-use manageability, the DSA-N2B40 allows users to easily add up to 96 TB of extra capacity. A base unit can be connected to a maximum of six expansion units, thus making up a storage set. In turn, each set is in itself a system that can be monitored and managed  independently only requiring an IP address.

The DSA-N2B40 series supports 4 Gigabit  Ethernet ports admitting up to 256 high-speed simultaneous  iSCSI connections. Just ilke all other Bosch/NetApp disk arrays, this models are fully integrated with Bosch Video Recording Manager 2.0 software for quick configuration. In turn, video storages Arrays are compatible with Bosch Video Management System 2.x.
