As of February 8th, 2010, Avaya will modify its business model for the selling of Plantronics headsets and accessories, which were formerly distributed directly. Starting this date, the whole product line can now be purchased directly through its distribution partner, Anixter.

The integration of solutions will be launched by mid 2010 and will be providing a more scalable, profitable model when compared to current systems with overlapping networks.

Avaya and Polycom are expanding its unified communications alliance. With this new agreement, they will facilitate fully integrated communications based on voice and video collaboration solutions developed by both manufacturers. This is a new attempt at reinforcing their commitment to standards and open architectures.
