Architectural design in corporate buildings, campuses and large spaces can become an impairment for the use of wireless technologies, limitating signal coverage and potentially increasing installation costs needed to maximize the system’s reach and capacity. In order to prevent and overcome these difficulties, CommScope has developed an indoor wireless system family product, already availabe at Anixter.
Based on Commscope experience in corporate structured cabling, this solution considers the requirements of both wireless network operators and public security communications. With multiple indoor antennas, the system provides large scale buildings with improved signal coverage and eliminates the need for future modifications.
When implemented during the construction phase, these indoor wireless systems can help reduce installation and design costs up to four times and eliminate the need to test for potential radio frequency (RF) interference issues. At the same time, these systems protect wireless network performance within the building in the face of future changes on the outdoor network.
Commscope Wired for Wireless indoor systems, available through Anixter, include two low-profile multi-band Andrew Cell-Max™ indoor antennas, covering 3G applications up to 2.7 MHz. The systems also utilize Andrew’s HELIAX® 2.0 transimission line cable, both low-smoke- zero-halogene (LSZH)and plenum cables, plus easy-to- install connectors providing maximum performance and flexibility, and cable management devices.
Contact your executive at Anixter and provide your customers with universal wireless coverage across the whole building structure, now and in the future.
