Avaya announces a new distribution model for Plantronics products.

As of February 8th, 2010, Avaya will modify its business model for the selling of Plantronics headsets and accessories, which were formerly distributed directly. Starting this date, the whole product line can now be purchased directly through its distribution partner, Anixter.

Plantronics will continue manufacturing the complete headset portfolio designed for Avaya solutions, and both companies have committed resources to foster the joint development of future generations of these products.

This modification in the selling scheme will ultimately improve the business model and will allow both customers and integrators to access a complete portfolio of added value solutions and services thanks to its distribution partner, Anixter.

Avaya also announced that all partners will be able to access the product portfolio immediately to start enjoying the benefits of the Plantronics Connect Program.

Anixter, one of  Avaya and Plantronics main business partners, has the portfolio and the best availability of Plantronics headsets and accessories, as well as a strategic business model that enables to offer customers added value services to help benefit their businesses.
